Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. First gymnast in history to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi is an Romanian gymnastics instructor, who later became the coach for Comaneci who first came across Comaneci when she was just six years old. She first competed in the junior national championships in 1969 placing 13th and she won the competition in the year 1970. In her 1972 first international competition in an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition for countries in the Communist bloc, she took home three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975 she was crowned all-around Junior Champion. In 1975, she won four golds and one silver in her first senior international contest. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. She took home the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and became the first woman to ever dismount parallel bars using the double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career as an entertainment professional in her teens, when she performed as the figure skating duo of her sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September, 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol entered the entertainment industry in her teens. At the age of a girl she was an ice skater with Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. The shows featured theatrical ice-skating performance.
