Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August, 1974 in Aviano Italy). American actress. Known for playing naive adorable characters. Adams was the youngest of seven children who lived when she was a kid in Castle Rock, Colorado. She was born while her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. The actress began acting and dancing professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and later The Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she relocated to Minnesota where she was scouted for Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentarian film about beauty contests. After making her screen debut as a cute but serious contestant, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 until September 1962. The couple had children: Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and started her career as a film actress in the 1940s. The decade following, she appeared in many well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
