In the summer, while working at the company of her father, Laura Linney became fascinated by theatre. Then she attended Brown University she studied acting and also at Juilliard School, after which she began her acting career. Within a mere two years after graduation she began her Broadway-based career. The following year she made her debut on film and television. Her appearances have been in a variety of film, TV as well as stage productions ever since. During her career she received numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards. Although she has received numerous nominations, she has a passion for acting and has performed on both screen and stage.
